Well, yes for Catholicism and other religions, no for mathematics. Were mathematics as "real" as astrology, you wouldn't be able to read this, since there would be no computers and no Internet.

One of the benchmarks of sanity is the ability to accurately perceive and process reality. We've had about 2500 years of astrology (going back to ancient Babylon) during which we've not seen one scrap of confirming evidence for either the theory or practice of it. Can the same be said for, say, chemistry or thermodynamics?
