I've been on this site for almost a week now, and I have to say that I'm absolutely loving it. This is possibly one of the most positive places I've found on the overwhelmingly noxious internet, and that's so refreshing. Everyone is encouraging and kind, which makes a massive change. People have even taken time to reply to my messages and comments, which is just brilliant, and I really appreciate it. I must say that the relative anonymity of SG helps towards making me feel comfortable, but I honestly feel like I can be myself on here and express things that I wouldn't normally let outside my own head. And I even got my first choice of username!
Some of the sets that you wonderful girls are putting up are just incredible; they're really helping me rekindle my appreciation of beauty and soften this old cynical shell of mine. I'm going to do my best to not be a lurker, and I think I may try to keep up some kind of journal: it's nice to know that my thoughts are only here for a "select" and supportive community, and of course, myself.
Keep doing what you're doing guys and gals, and be excellent to each other.
