I hope that everyone had a spanking good X-mas. I did, my greedy self had a pretty good haul. I gots; a new (used) turntable, a "french press" coffee maker, a hardcover collection of Jim Woodring's "Frank" comics, some socks and boxers...hmmm, Colee got me Mario Tennis and the new Harry Potter movie and her mom got me Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic and a box of peanut butter M&Ms. My sister sent home some neat-o Korean movies on DVD, including "A Tale of Two Sisters" which I have been wanting to see. and to top it all off, I spent a quiet day at home with my folks and Colee, lounging it up.
I had to work Boxing day starting at 6 o'clock in the stupid morning and suprisingly it was a fairly stress-free day. You see, I'm not a cashier and I'm a crappy salesman (my department didn't have any good deals anyway), so I mainly got to pace around and chat with my co-workers and avoid the crazy shoppers.
AND I'm gonna watch Shawn of the Dead tonight. I'm all fortunate and stuff.
see ya

I know there are two different versions of the "Hellboy Talking Board". A limited edition in a real wooden box and a regular version. I was thinking of getting one off e-bay but it contradicts my "no collectables" New Years Resolution.
Thanks for the "heads-up" though I'll have to look and see if it's still there next time I'm in the city. If it's pretty enough I might just break down and buy it.
