Well thanks everyone for wishing me a happy birthday..I'm truly touched. Last
nite went OK,went to my friend's house in Ojai,he's still building it but it was cool.
Saw my ex she wanted to talk but too much going on and too many people to
see - today is a total recovery day.
I didn't get home until 5am,slept until 10am,did a little ocean swim to wake up,
ran some errands with my brother-in-law.
Well as glad as I am,there's two things about today that bother me. The least important is that I'm not getting old but I am getting OLDER- I know 24 is still young,my life is ahead of me,etc,but it seems like time really flies. It seems just like yesterday I was 18 and going to uni, etc..now here I am.
Also, as I've told some people here before,my twin brother and best friend
William died in a car accident 2 years ago. We always tried to celebrate our birthday together but couldn't. I was in uni,he was also at uni in another country,so for us to go 2 years without seeing each other wasn't unusual. This birthday hit me hard , I suppose. One of the reasons I came back home for my birthday was because I knew my sister would be upset, and she was. My mum called me last nite and I could tell she had been crying,of course this breaks my heart ,the worst feeling is there's nothing I can say or do to console her.
Last nite my ex wanted to discuss that,
but I really wasn't up for it, I was definitely rude to her and plan to call and apologize. She was good friends with William (that's how I met her) and
deserved better. I'm going back to
Tampa tomorrow, as much as I love Malibu I have my own home and life there. I'm such a transient I need to find a place and call it home. My mum worked for the British Embassy and my father for the US,so we moved from city to city,there are advantages and disadvantages to both.
Sorry if I'm ranting I'll now stop..
The good thing is July 23rd I go to UK
for almost 1 month...get to see my family,friends (and hopefully meet the
lovely India, amongst others)
Also,for those who asked me what I look like,I promise I'll have some pics up,got busy with school,etc..when I get back I'll make that a priority.

July 14- the Lakers are falling apart and I LOVE IT. Shaq to the Heat,Kobe maybe to the Clips, couldn't happen to a nicer team.
More important then Lakers is my job update..applied for a position in my company as a project manager for new office opening in London. Today GM emailed me said would like to meet me when I visit in July,etc..if all goes well will be in London by Christmas to start Jan 2 05. Wish me luck
July 17- past 2 nights have played basketball at the local uni..not an official
team but guys who have played uni ball
in the past, one guy who tried out for the Magic,etc..a well-rounded bunch.
Other then shooting at my hoop in driveway,haven't played anyone since my knee surgery. Dr. said could go light
so played off bench ,had about 10-12 points,2 boards,2 assists per game,felt great,had a little pain which aspirin took care of..methinks the WHITE BOY IS BACK!!!!
