It totally sucks that the Echo Lounge is closed. It was one of the best places in town to see a good show. It seems like ATL is trying to make itself less desirable to anyone from out of state. It's changed for the worse in the past 3 years with the closings of a couple of all night clubs, venues and rolling back the last call time.
I know when I moved here 2 and half years ago, I loved it, so much to do and great places to go, but now it seems like the city is devolving. I've got 2 more years in my 5 year plan for ATL. If it keeps going like this, I most likely will be searching for a new city to live at in 2007. Any suggestions? Things that I'm looking for: warm climate most of the year, diversity, strong local scene, good job market and affordable. So far I've been thinking about Austin, Nashville, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago or maybe out of the country.
Yesterday on the way home from work some scumbag that lives in the Cotton Mill Lofts was in front of me on Boulevard. His license plate read IH8ATL. WTF, how are you gonna live in Atlanta, especially down town and have that plate? I wanna know where this person is from and why they would choose to do that. Baffling. So if you see this guy or know this guy, kick him in the shins.
I need a fun job or to win Mega millions. My current job sucks ass. The harder you work, the more work they give you and no reward or recognition.
Me, Sue and Spaghetti are in the process of coming up with a zine with some other people in our neighborhood. Anyone interested in helping out or contributing to getting something started either a print or online zine? Something that represents the scene well and gives a better look at what is actually going on underground. We'll definitely need writers, cause I suck ass.
I try and hide myself from what is wrong for me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
