This week has been nonstop. Between work, my family being here and the Mark Kozelek show on Thur. night I haven't gotten any rest.
Work has just been downright tedious lately, but not all is bad there. I was given an award on Wed. for Execellent Work, I got a framed certificate and a gift card to Wal-Mart. Its nice to be recognized for your work even if it's something as small as that.
The family just left today and it was good seeing them. My little brother is awesome. He's not quite 1 yet so he's not a complete headache.
The Mark Kozelek show on Thur. was amazing. He played about 8 or so older songs in his set including a cover of Modest Mouse and Fever Dog by Stillwater (Almost Famous)
Then he finished his encore with Carry Me Ohio from his latest album. It totally made my night considering I lost $60 earlier in the evening 
I need to start packing. I'm moving next weekend, but I don't see that happening til Monday and everyday the rest of the week. I can't wait to get out of Vinings and down to Cabbagetown.
I also have a date tomorrow
with this girl who went to the same college as me that I met at an alumni event a couple of weeks ago. Our scheduals finally coincide and from the sounds of it, she's every bit as excited, if not more excited than I am about this date. 
Next time you see me, I'll be different.
