Im in the Money
So I been working my good job now for about three weeks, got my first full paycheck yesterday, GOD i love having money. I love being back on the water again too, i hope I will never leave it for that long again.
I have a bunch of slack off deckhands that I have to whip into shape, but thats normal for the start of the season. Ive got people that have never worked on a boat before and have no idea which is starboard or port. SO we have a long way to go with them but its something I like doing.
Not to ring my own bell, but i forget how much knowledge of boats i actually have im my brain. Its amazing the random shit that I know that others dont about our fleet.
Its nice to be the senior mate at our company though. I forgot how it felt for people to have respect for you job and for the things you know and they dont. Its my sixth year on the water, i cant even imagine what more ill learn by the time i retire, but i know there is tons to learn, and im loooking forward to it.
The sex life is null and void right now, to busy with work to date, and most girls arent interested in just a sexual realtionship. Which is understandable, but right now i dont have the time for a relationship. I just want to have someone to hook up with from time to time.
