hey there stranger, it's been awhile! how goes it?

I've long had a strange relationship with the Royals. First off, my parents gave me the middle name of Brett, after the Hall of Fame thirdbaseman, who was you know, tearing it up when I was being born.

Then came 1985....

At the same time, as being from Missouri, I like it when the Royals put up a fight in their division, like, an extention of the home town feel if you will.

I had been considering changing my name for on here for at least the last year or so, and Ankiel heading east on I-70 to KC was the perfect impetus to make such a change.

I'll still be pulling for him though.
