i walk a mile to school and then a mile back home. then i work on my feet all day. my feet get tired and i like rubbing peppermint stuff on them that my mom gives me sometimes. well today i ran out, so i went to the store to get some, only to discover...THAT SHIT'S EXPENSIVE!!! and for the first time, i read the ingrediant list. the fewer animal products, the more expensive the consumer product. most of them contained stearic acid.
so i made my own:
1/2 cup water
10 drops peppermint essential oil
1 tsp. witch hazel (for a cooling effect)
pour it in a spray bottle, shake the hell out of it and VOILA! no more smelly feet!
then guess what i did?
i made the same stuff, only with a half a cup of vinegar instead of witch hazel and poured on my hair in the shower and BAM! homemade shampoo that smells like peppermint tea! it doesn't sud, so it would be perfect for dreads.
just thought i'd share.

I may have to try this or tell my mom to try it.
