Yo yo yo,
This weekend has been kind of boring.
Good thing is I went to the theather, picked this movie, In Bruges, expected nothing from it but another rip-off of weak Guy Ritchie/Tarantino/"pseudo-cool" gangsters and shit, but it was really good in the end.
Funny, dark, sweet, cute, and Colin Farrell was very good in it. He had not this dead look in the eyes he had in Miami Vice.
Then I was hoping my army buddy would come back from the job this weekend so we'd have something to do but no, he had to stay there because of a "open door" day: civilians allowed to visit the base and see them work. So they could see them making push-ups, sit-ups, interesting stuff like that
but they could also see them shoot targets with their big ass guns. They even had a demonstration with blank bullets.
The thing is, one of them had accidentally got real bullets, live bullets, in his gun, then it's unclear, but the result is 17 wounded, 4 badly, so yay for French Army
good thing we don't go at war much.
My friend was there but didn't seem that shocked. Good for him I guess.
Then as I had nothing to do I finally got myself to do something I had to do for a long time. Put on YouTube the last video I made for a class this year...
The video isn't 100% done, finished, flawless, and I hate myself for this as I see everything that sucks but in the end the project was so big that the computer could'nt keep up, it was almost screaming "aaaaaah don't touch anything it will rape me". Anyway it had to be finished, gave it to the teacher, and the result is pretty cool so enjoy.
I've made a sort of music video for the song St*rs by Warpaint.
For people interested in technics, I've made all the drawings myself on Flash, saved them on a big ass resolution, the files were each 20MB!!, then I passed my life on Adobe Premiere, as it was my first times with it, to make the drawings "move" etc... Blurgh, it's been fun.
Other videos I've made for this class are the other ones on my youtube account but they're less fun.
