So, I finally got my biopsy report, and all cancer cells from the melanoma site were removed. Of course there is a slim chance that some cancer cells could have gotten into my blood or lymph system and traveled elsewhere, but this is unlikely because it was caught early. I've been living with that possibility for 10 years since my first melanoma. I'm not going to let that worry me.
I do want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who responded to me during this time. It means a lot to me. There were many kind comments on the blog, and very nice personal messages from Kaliva. This was all very touching and helpful.
And thanks again to Rambo for getting the blog on the Front Page to help raise awareness about the dangers of radiation damage from the sun and from tanning beds.
Here's to you...
Cheers!
