Where are you? Because. Big storm sweeping over from the midwest and up the east coast, and meeting to create a snowpocalypse. So you may get some of this, depending.

and if you think a lot of the shots are the same, then you're not paying attention to detail

useful criticism maybe, but you are basically putting down my artistic intentions.
it's not supposed to be your average pin-up set.

I mean, I get what you're saying. It's pretty cliche .. in that, I've heard it a million times and it's the typical response. I get it. Except I think when you say "death .. that's life" -- yes and no. If by that you mean it's inevitable? I agree. But I think if you look at it in those terms, as "it's a part of life" rather than being mutually exclusive -from- life? Being that it's the complete stopping of life -- like a vacuum where there is none and never again will be any element -of- life? ..

I just think when people include it in their definition of life, .. I worry that they're getting too video-game-definition with it. Which is a problem people have .. desensitizing to the concept of death, and the finality. You die, and it sucks so much, and then other things happen. In various pop culture references. And so that is how I hear that phrase. And when people toss it out lightly and with a shrug. I wonder if they ever pause to apply gravity.

Not to be a downer, because who cares, and whether or not anyone ever pauses, they'll die just the same. HOWEVER. That's the point of the phrase in the end. That's how I read -that- one. "Remember you must die." Apply gravity.

I'm aware that it's inevitable. But it's nothing to be macho about. It's a fucking thing.

Thanks for saying so. It was, but hey. Guess I'm growing up.

Strange, the things we find ourselves doing .. we never imagined we'd do voluntarily.

I know, right? I have no time for this shit.

He really is .. what I consider to be getting obscenely fat. Except the other day I went to the pet store and saw an -actual- "large rat" and it was much bigger than him. So I realized, .. I think he's just ..

Birthday came and went, it just becomes another day and number as the years go by.

I hope you had a good birthday! smile
chrysis:
Yeah. I don't like pop at all, because it hurts my mouth. The first swig I took, sitting in the gas station parking lot, I winced so hard .. and my eyes watered so badly a tear fell down each cheek. It was kind of comical, actually. But I guess it's just like anything you're not used to -- it gets really abrasive. I don't drink anything carbonated, and even when I was a kid and drank pop, I used to let it sit out first so it could get flat, because it "hurt" less. Lol.

The beard thing is interesting -- is that the Abe reference? It's all coming together. Baha.

Birthdays really do just come and go sometimes, and it's weird. I'm not sure if I prefer it when no one tries to prevent this [ie: attempting to make a thing of them] because it always fails and somehow that is sadder. I guess so. By the way, though, happy birthday. Did I say this? I thought of it at some point but may have forgotten to actually click the buttons. Hmph.

Milk is horrible to drink when you are sick. It produces more flem. Not good.
chrysis:
I most certainly do that too. God, my inner self is witty. It's a little disappointing sometimes -- wishing I could go back, redo, etc. But if nothing else, I find myself more prepared the next time around, either in a related conversation with the same person, or even just in conversation in general. Sharpening a tool.
