If you make a mistake as a waitress by not checking on your tables correctly, just say you are sorry and leave it at that. Don't make excuses as that won't help you. Most of all if you feel it necessary to lie to your manager about how the customer was yelling and dropping F-bombs at you, make sure the manager isn't friends with those customers as she will actually approached them to discuss the matter. HAHA! One for the customer.
