It's Friday, a cold beer in my hand, SG on my screen. I wish my friend AngelEyez a great weekend, she deserves another. I am also looking to a good weekend. Tomorrow is a Halloween Party with a bunch of Roller Derby chicks and their loved ones. This is a bunch of great unique people that are a lot of fun. I work with the Screw Crew (put up and take down of the track) when they have bouts and it is hard work but also a ton of fun. I also have a birthday party for the cutest 6 year old girl who's parents are like my family to go to. The only conflict is I am a bit worried, another family will be there who are hopefully still friends. I attacked a post that was near and dear to them on Facebook recently. Their thought is with their child who has juvenile diabetes. My attack was not based on that but she questioned why breast cancer gets more publicity. My attack was simple and I pointed out that diabetes gets much more funding and has a cure while cancer does not. I also went personal, which I should not of because I often only post silly things on Facebook while avoiding politics, etc. My friend who had MS died 2 months ago, giving up on his life after his wife died from a second fight with breast cancer a year before. I lashed out and should not have and since apologized. Hopefully tomorrow is peaceful, but I expect a punch to the face.
