Hmm. Unexpected circumstances are forcing my wife and me out of our house in Virginia. We are pissed and want to move as far away from here as we can, without drowning in the Pacific.

Portland has always appealed to us and we're starting to investigate the possibility. It seems absurd. We've never even been to Portland -- we'll have to do something about that soon -- but it seems like some place that we could live.

I think I'll apply to the PDX group and see what I can find out about what the natives have to say. I'm not sure if I'll qualify for membership, though. I don't really know any members personally, only online and then not too much.

Anybody got any other good suggestions about how to find out about Portland's neighborhoods?

My wife has expressed interest in the benefits of the weather on her skin and I hope to use it to get her into some latex.
