Ok time for my annual update, nothing like a flamboyant debaucherous party to bring the quiet ones out of the wood work.
Thanks so much to the dazzling delightful divine Kelly for everything, I had such an over the top fantastic fun weekend and I blame you It was so nice to get to play with you again.
I saw lots of old friends and met some fantastic new ones, What a colourful bunch of misfits you all are. When I looked in the mirror the next morning my shoulder read "Rhi was here" that made me giggle thanks babe, Thanks Brainstorma and Illuminaire for looking out for me and keeping me warm (Maybe I'll dress more sensibly next year) and thanks Lelaina for the ride, I'm so glad we got to arrive fashionably late, and of course thank you all of the organisers and volunteers for the military like precision in which everything was planned and executed. How on earth Phill could concentrate on driving a bus full of lawless rowdy cowboys and hussies I will never understand, well done.
Also I'd just like to say that I have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe in my unconventional choice of dress, at any SGAU gathering. For such a diverse group of people you are all so wonderfully accepting openminded and encouraging, Its very rare for me to go out and not be the subject of some disaproval. Thats pretty cool I rek'n, Warm thanks to the collective culturally progressive kindness and inspiration that is the SGAU
Here is one of my favourite memories from my weekend, windscreen washing and corset tightening at the servo on the way to the ball, What a crazy kooky night.
