I had the best holiday ever. We sailed dads new boat from Brisbane to Airlie beach, It was a rough trip there was huge storms, 3 to 4 meter seas gale force winds, dolphins, wales, pirates
, OK so there weren't any pirates but it was still a grand adventure on the high seas. When we got up north is was beautiful weather, warm sun, cool breeze and calm seas. Perfect cruising weather and we had 2 weeks to sail around and enjoy the amazing islands. We saw dolphins almost every day, went on bush walks, saw aboriginal cave paintings, and swam at my favourite beach Whitehaven.
I have never found it so hard to get back in to my work
The boat is now in Airlie in a managed charter fleet. I'm planning another trip over new years with some friends, can't wait.
