We're making our way into the civil new year, in the west 2009. In the Middle East business is as usual. Since Jacob and Esau, Isaac and Ishmael, or even all the way back to Cane and Abel, or before with Lilith and Eve, this brother murdering brother, sister helping the justification of it by the perpetuation of their people's myths, always in the name of G-D, or Allh has not changed.
In the Gaza Strip the Nation of Israel yet again bombs the hell out of primarily Muslim families,
claiming their justification being the Hamas waring invasion into Israel, (Acronym:the Islamic Resistance Movement). Hamas is presently held up in Palestine, in Gaza, (note
hilistine(s) will better inform those familiar with the stories of the future, but then young soon to be King of Israel, David, who killed the warrior Goliath of Palestine/Philistine.).
Hamas has murdered people living in Israel over and over again, without any regard to the age, gender, or religious affiliation of those they choose to murder. They are also fond of hiding from the bombs of Israel behind their own children, in hospitals, day to day family businesses, and in homes. This conveniently allows them to claim the true culprits to be their heartless enemies, Israel as well as Judaism. Both Hamas and Israel blame the other for their justification of their own murderous rampages.
In Lebanon, Hezbolla (lit. 'party of God') was used in 2006 for the same justification by Israel to discriminatingly, indiscriminatingly bomb the people living there. In Lebanon, however, there are little if any people that choose to be religiously aligned with being Jewish, in contrast to nearly 60/40% split by way of the Lebanese various Muslim and Christian sects. Exploitation of convenience, this is always the name of the game in war propaganda.
Since 1917 through the creation of the Zionist movement, which led to the official establishment of the revived State of Israel in 1948, it is Zionism that has ruled the day. It is Zionist Israel that claimed the right to surrounding areas for their nation-state. Zionism claims to be democratic, and in Israel, as with the nation, mostly claims to be sectarian. Ironically, it is this same sectarian state as well as the Zionist movement that perpetuates the notion of a certain right to this little piece of property. Whatever the rhetoric of the waring parities in the Middle East, the only justification, self-justification, for either the State of Israel or the Palestinian State and other primarily Islamic States are religious. One thing for certain, too, is that both of these primary religious groups have never ceased to use their supposed piety as a basis for the murdering of the innocents.
Neither waring party, in all of their respective (sic) various hues, have a right to claim a right to any land due to the piety of their lives as warranted by their respective holy books. It is their playing loose with their religious texts that merely gives them kindling to keep their hatred of each other alive (sic). Neither the Torah or the Koran gives either group a right to kill their enemy just because their in their way. Neither the Torah or the Koran gives their followers the right to conveniently circumvent their own obedience to the prescribed lives of holiness. And, this being the most important, neither of these presumed groups of followers of the One G-D, in their scriptures, are given any right to this Promised Land without their own real and true personal repentance. With little observation, let me ask a question, which of these groups satisfy their own Torah or Koran requisites?
What of US of the U.S.of A., the Brits and the autocratic group that calls themselves The United Nations? These leaders don't give a damn or blessed about any child or family living in any nation-state. As long as commerce is perpetuated it is just fine that folks are murdered. Here and there these nation-states and the autocratic U.N., or the other one called NATO, will step in with supposed peace keeping forces, usually after the fact of more murderous rampages by the same groups' military forces. Kosovo is an excellent example of this. Hitler and his forces are another example of convenience, where not one nation had a problem with the potential extermination of the Jewish people living under his rule (note: there is no such thing as the Jewish race, any more than the Christian race, and so on.) until it affected their cash flow. These groups, so called concerned on-watchers, do not care that people are right now in prison for their religious, political, or mere civil disobedience of whatever sort in South Africa, in the Muslim-Arab states, in China, in South America, and the list goes on, -- just as long as these poor souls do not get in the way of the business of governments. What is this business? Their own perpetuation of personal wealth and rule.
One thing for sure that the story of our species should teach us: The story of war only leads to more wars, and the primary people murdered are those in the way of those killing one another. That damn collateral damage!
Peace is the choice of those willing to die for those not knowing that they're the enemy.
