New perspectives...
I spent about 4 hours 20 feet up in that tree filming a rail. The shots ended up looking cool, but being there was an odd experience. It's in a park a stones throw from my house but on this particular day there was a huge bum BBQ, a bunch of thugs playing B-Ball, sketchy little kids on bikes, and bitter old people... all talking shit on my guys and what they were doing... nobody knew i was in the tree just taking it all in. The bums were confused and impressed, the thugs were talking about mugging the guys and stealing their camera equip and stuff, and the old people were all pissed and said we were stupid... which is probably closest to the truth. I felt like a little kid again, regardless. It was beautiful outside. Getting the snow there was a riot. I took my roommate's truck and filled it with snow from an ice skating rink like 30 minutes away, and it looked all lowered and kitted... hahaha. it was leaking the whole way back and the back tires almost blew out. The scraping from the metal mudflaps was pretty pimp too, every time i hit a bump. Sheeeeit. Midnight mission last night produced one of the best shots I've gotten all year, and sealed the deal to go full time for Finger on the Trigger Productions. Wahoo.
OldOne's visit was quite fun. He fed me all week... Prob so he could have that gnarlier profile pic... Finally skated Newburg, which is the best park I've ever been to. Until a bus load of school kids arrived at the same time as the rain.
Lola's last friday fucking slayed it... best ever. Danced for 3 hours without stopping... Wayne couldn't believe it... behold the power of napping.
Almost done work at Zumiez. I'm gonna miss those bastards. But this summer will be wicked pissa! I've missed my best friend Bendini soo much being out here... one of a few missing links here in Portland.
Well, off the see the new Matrix movie... I'll finish this lates.
XOXO,
Boo
