last night was lots of fun.
the gig started at eight; in providence by seven, but the living room is so obscure, so we didn't find it until some few minutes after eight o'clock. mapquest is good for nothing, i tell you. i asked for directions at the biltmore hotel and mr. fancy pants lit mapquest's directions on fire. haha.
finally, brit and i got to that little hole in the wall...the living room. dead reckless was on and they were good, as were the other two support acts (he is legend and haste the day). i had never seen so much 'penny picking' in all of my life. it was so funny, but entertaining. everyone's got to hardxcore dance, you know? anywho, from first to last finally got on stage. they've a girl bassist now...? her name is lisa. they were amazing. totally flawless. sonny was beautiful. i'd seen him prior to FFTL going on; he was standing on a merch table watching the other bands. my only disappointments were that they didn't play populace in two and that they only kicked something like six songs. overall though, it was great.
