Hello all,
Again, not much going on around here. I've finally gotten around to playing Okami on the PS2, and I can't stress how much I love this game. Everything about it is fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. As far as I'm concerned, it's everything every post Link to the Past Zelda game has wanted to be. It really is a shame that no one bought this game, because I think anyone with a genuine love for gaming should experience it. It's also too bad that the lack of sales contributed to the closing of one of the finest development houses in the history of gaming. Okami is a sterling example of everything game developers should be striving for.
No, this is not production art, it's a screenshot of the the actual game:
Anyway, if you haven't played Okami, you should.
Oh, and last week while I was getting my taxes together, my W2 blew out the window of my car, and needless today I was pissed/concerned/feeling like an idiot. Well today, I got a mysterious envelope delivered to me at work. Someone apparently found my W2 and took the time and eighty cents in postage to mail it out to me. How awesome is that?! Apparently, not everyone sucks. Even I suck, but the person who did this definitely doesn't.
Really, I guess that's about it. I hope you're all well.
Take care.

PS:
Obscure song lyric for the day:
"Sixteen thousand dollars, and all he wanted to do was dip us in plaster."
Anyone?

In the past several months things have spiralled getting worse due to some other factors in my life, of which, there was one where I fucked up massively and am now really hurting for it. Regret is a hard thing to live with.
I don't know, maybe it's because I'm in a bad place, but I just can't see things getting any better and ever being happy with what I have. But I also have a sense of apathy towards a future.
Things like that let me have such great faith in the human race sometimes.
