Hello again everyone,
So it's been more than a week since Sarah and I broke up. We got together last night to talk about things, and see if there was a way for us to work things out so we could be together again. As it turns out, there wasn't. It looks like I'm finally going to have to accept the finality of it all. All last week I was hoping it wouldn't really be over. It's not to be, it seems.
So now I just have to figure out how to start living my life by myself again. I don't know what to do with myself. I've really loved having Sarah in my life, and talking to her everyday, and having that connection with her even when we weren't together. Knowing that I would get to spend time with her on the weekends used to get me through the week, no matter how crappy things got at work. I don't know what my motivation is going to be now. I'm going to miss taking care of her, and sharing my life with her. It's really hard to know that I can't just pick up the phone and call her.
It's going to be a long road.
In an attempt to keep from completely falling apart, and keeping my mind focused elsewhere, I've been doing a lot of painting. There are a lot of them, so I'll only post a few this time around.
First is the wonderful SaveMe. She's been really great through all of this, and she's proven herself to be a really great friend. There are a number of other people who have been really terrific and supportive over the last week. You know who you are, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Next, I thought I would participate in the art jam over in the Fan Art group. The model and image this time were really interesting, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's the lovely Morrigan.
The last one for this entry is of the beautiful Polly Thundercat.
I'll get to the rest of them likely sometime in the near future. I hope you like them.
In addition to all this, I've been quite sick , and seem to still be in the thick of it. I'm also still in need of money, and trying to figure out a better way to sell my work. That task has become considerably more difficult in light of recent events. It's a little hard to focus. Any ideas? Anyone want some art?
Again, thank you to everyone for all of your support and well wishes. It really helps. This is the hardest thing I've probably ever had to deal with. I'm just going to have to get through it the best I can.
