Hey y'all,
First off, let me say thanks to everyone for the kind words concerning my last post. I really try to keep things positive here. There's enough negativity everywhere else. It was just a rough week, and I appreciate all the nice things people had to say.
Last weekend started out even worse than the rest of the week, but then it somehow miraculously transfromed itself into something pretty great. We got a monster snowstorm on Sunday, which gave my girlfriend and I an extra day together on Monday. It was really nice.
So, last post I informed you all of the death of my tablet. It's still dead, but it was really bugging me that I couldn't finish the painting I was in the middle of. So today I decided to borrow my tablet from work and finish it, and here for your viewing pleasure (hopefully) is my latest piece:
It's of a lovely fellow SG member. I feel much better now that it's finished, and I won't mind so much waiting to do some more work.

We've pretty much been throwing ideas around as to what direction we would like to go in but with both of our backgrounds, I could see us venturing into marketing/advertising campaigns print/tv possibly. My friend and I (he even moreso) have a big foot in the door in the wakeboarding industry; we both used to compete on the pro level and he was editor of a wakeboarding magazine and still does freelance writing and journalism within the sport... so it'd be a logical start point to test the waters. I mean really, a media company entails so many things, we're just trying to come up with some sort of solid direction before putting together a business plan. Thanks for your offer man; I actually mentioned you last night when we were talking and my friend was pretty stoked to hear about what you were doin'.
