Well, by now everyone knows about the show, and despite the insane amount of work and preparation that went into it, it's old news now. In fact, I have to take it down soon. Now I suppose I just have to look forward to doing some new work.
Speaking of which, just before my show went up, I had a photo shoot with a lovely young woman. I managed to get some really interesting shots of her, and have begun doing some work with them. Here are the first five pieces I've come up with:
Fall from Grace
October Eve
Titania
The Longing
Sanguine
It's actually been really nice to switch gears a bit and do some more photographic work. I've been cranking out illustrations for so long, I felt like I was starting to forget some of my other skills. I'm glad to see they haven't completely rusted away.
On a personal note, I have managed to land myself a girlfriend. Her name's Sarah, and she's completely amazing. Gorgeous, funny, talented, and most important of all, she's intelligent. In fact, she kicked my ass at Boggle last night. I think that's the first time it's ever happened. Actually, the best thing about her really is the fact that she gets me. I know people say that, but it's really true in this case. No one in the past has understood what I'm about, especially when it comes to my artwork. Sarah is different however, and I'm really happy and really thankful to have her as a part of my life.
That having been said, that's the reason I've been a bit less active on the site recently. We've been spending a lot of time together, as she will be spending the summer doing two plays, and will have little free time to spend with me. Such is life, I guess.
Anyway, thanks for struggling through this post. I hope everyone is well. Take care all. Bye!

I was never a comic book nerd. My fella was, and he seemed to be able to enjoy the movie enough. Most films that are adaptations tho seem to get a lot of guff!

Well the other fun thing to do with a belly is to make your hand do The Worm on it. That's good times!
