How does one stain/dye leather? I have looked online and can't figure it out. I bought this chair at Georgetowns market that has about a 12 x 12 inch patch of leather in the seat bottom - it's rather heavy embossed leather. It is currently brown/tan and I'd like it to be black to match my other furniture better. Without having to have it redone - does anyone know of a way to stain/dye it? I used to show horses on the Junior Quarter horse circuit - you think I'd know from my days of cleaning tack! But, no. You think one of my bootblack friends in the leather community could tell me - but no! You think the craft store would have something, or the fabric store, but no. You think there would be something online, but can I find it, No! But, I'm brain dead!
I've been sore as heck - like I'm getting a cold - achy back and sore throat. I hate getting sick. Hopefully I won't. Maybe I should work on school stuff.
Got notice that my drapes are shipping - so I need to get on finding hardware. I found some that I like -but not in my size. Damn. I may just buy very simple black rods and finials - Ikea or something - understated because the curtains/drapery are stunning. I can always change later when I find something I REALLY like and then I'm not out a ton of money.
I was waiting for someone to come so I could go to the store - but they fucked around for a couple of hours and now I don't feel like going - that is irritating - like I want to be out driving in the dark - I hate to drive anyway. And like stores are open all hours. You can't do Ikea in a quick minute either! Shit! Their punishment will be they can stay home and not see me at all! How's that? And I even adjusted the new harness - no strappin' for them! Since I don't feel good it doesn't bother me either way!
Te he!

I love that idea of edible landscape. I really have to start thinking about developing that. A Willy Wonka yard of sorts. I really think you should contact my friend. He has a 4 year degree in landscaping. I don't know too many people like that.
Got a question. So, do people at your place of work/study know "you"?
I hope you are having fun this weekend with your house and stuff. It sounds like you are.
