random musings from someone that hasn't updated in a while.
1. why is it that whenever the movie commando with ah-nold is on tv i am compelled to watch it?
2. i really like the show robot chicken on cartoon network. what other show has a "where are they now" with cobra comander as a personality on qvc and scambled porn starring barbie dolls.
3. i've seen quite a few shows in my time but there's still many bands/dj's that i still would like to see live that i haven't yet. here's a few (and i'm not even going to go into the bands that don't exist anymore) flaming lips, pj harvey, sigor ros, odd nosdam, mars volta, alias, dj shadow and the cure to name a few off the top of my head.
4. should i go back to school someday and actually get a degree?
5. cd's i've bought recently; peeping tom, soul position (reggie you should definitly check these guys out it's rjd2 with blueprint on vocals, very good rap with humor and good messages like early tribe), the new tool, eyedea and abilities, the x-ecutioners, de la soul (three feet hight and rising). and that's just in the last 2 or three weeks. if i go a week without buying a new cd i feel the need to go out and find one.
6. i really enjoy bartending but the hardest thing i find about it is remembering the regulars names and trying to keep up conversation with people that you don't have much in common with.
7. i was starting to think that i should trade in my new bike for a boat. i was able to ride it three days then it rained for two weeks straight.
8. i really want more tattoos but i can't seem to find a good artist that i can trust, actually i'm to lazy to spend the time looking for one.

Ah, so you saw the rusted out piece of tin sitting in our driveway. See here's the thing: as you can tell, we desperately need to have the house painted. However, Walter finds it necessary to buy a crappy truck for 1G to do his precious landscaping of the front yard (that also needs to get done but not to the degree of the house painting) instead of concentrating on the peeling paint on the house. I mean, one morning some guys in a truck actually said to me, "Sweetheart, your house needs a paint job!" If he doesn't get his act together pretty soon I'm going to take a can of sparkly craft spray paint and coat the house
