a brand new Ducati Monster.
i just bought it yesterday (not that one specificly). but the same bike. and they are building it for me and i can pick it up on thursday or friday. it was still in the crate. i've never owned a brand new vehicle. i get to be the first but in the seat and put the first miles on it.. it wasn't even on the showroom floor. this is very exciting for me. oh yeah and i should be able to selling my other bike soon. i have two people interested in it. but in less exciting news they have changed the insurance laws for motorcycles in MA this year. and my insurance has literally quadrupled. they used to base your rate on your driving record (and mine is really good....just a speeding ticket from a few years ago). but now they consider anyone that hasn't had their motorcycle license for six year as "inexperienced rider". the insurance on my old bike was about $300 for the whole year. for this bike it'll be $1300. what the fuck.....seriously people. what's the difference in my riding from last year to this year. what a scam. but either way i can't wait to ride it on friday.
in other news. strange things are afoot at the circle k. weird things have been going on in my neighborhood late at night recently. last night i could hear someone driving incredibly fast around here at 1am. i mean i could hear his tires squeeling around corners a few blocks away. and a couple nights ago i heard a car crash that sounded like it was about 3 houses down from me. but by the time i got to the window a car was pulling a u-turn right in front of my house. and a minute later another car drove by with a flat tire. i don't know whats going on with this town anymore.

Ha! The problem is the friend is 22 and the girl is...*clears throat*...still in high school. He obviously knows that it's wrong because he keeps asking us all our opinion on the situation and we all have been telling him to get rid of the girl. Now aside from me finding the whole thing morally objectionable, I also find it disgusting because she likes to cut people and drink their blood (what a class-act!). Ugg...friends! Who needs enemies??
