I had my wisdom tooth removed yesterday. I was very brave, except when I was crying & holding the nurses hand. but big syringes are scary. & so is the feeling that your tongue is going to be ripped out.

anyway, the actual extraction wasn't that bad. but the drilling my tooth into three sections, the removal of part of my jaw bone & the stitches were not very pleasant. when I say not very pleasant I mean the most godawfully painful thing.

but I have some gauze stuffed in my mouth & managed to eat two slices of bread today. I'm reading my aftercare brochure - man, the possible after-effects are damn scary. I do not want dry socket. no.
