I cannot wait to get out of this area! I know it's beating a really dead horse now, but the weather is just unbearable. I remember a friend of mine once told me that he was moving out to Cali because he gets really depressed in the winter...I think he was on to something. I think I'm far from depressed, but there is just about nothing to do. There is probably about 3-8 feet of snow on every inch of ground, and we get another storm every week.
So I'm heading out to California, and doing a cross-country drive to boot. This is probably the most spontaneous thing I've ever done. My trip will put me in Dallas for the Super Bowl also! I doubt I'll make it in, but just being there will be a huge deal for me. I have family just outside of Dallas, so I'll be able to meet up with them for a bit. Then it's through Arizona. I've never been there, but it sounds like my type of place. My good friend is moving to Phoenix soon, so I'll have to go back if I like it. From what I hear its sunny, hot and there are tons of beautiful women...hmmm, yeah sounds like an ok place. Then it's off to LA! I have been to LA one time, and it was probably one of my favorite cities on earth. Some people believe they were born the wrong gender, I believe I was born on the wrong coast. As much as I like the east coast, I think I am more suited for the Western life. The first time I went to Cali, which was 10 years ago, my friends all said I came back a different person. (for the better) I hope I can repeat this, my life is in need of some big changes. I am staying with a friend out in LA, and I have an open invitation to stay as long as I like. So, I have no clue when, or if, I am coming back. I have to admit, I kinda like that feeling.
