Does it annoy anyone else when people take things that are acronyms, like "LOL" and make them longer for no apparent reason?

Thanks for the advice, and trust me, I'm ten steps ahead of you on that -- it's just a matter of carving out a spot in which to do it, for me. In a new environment, feeling like no real estate is -mine- to camp out in for a while for said thinking, I'm always moving, always on my toes, always keeping out of everyone's way, and it's mentally stressful.
But yeah, what you're talking about is priceless and key in undoing a lot of other issues.

I didn't have a camera so I used my scanner.
Does anybody have any ideas about what I should do for a profile picture? I don't have a camera and I can't connect my phone to my laptop. The only thing I have been able to come up with so far is to take a scan of my face with my printer/scanner. And I'm not even sure that it will work that way.

hahahaha you can take any normal photograph thats been developed and scan it in.
most big chain "pharmacies" like duane read and wal-greens have little photo centers where you can get images sized and edited and it will put it on your flash drive if you bring one or a cd.
