Went to see Burlesque Fest last night at the Commodore! Wow! 
Very very good. Everyone should go see it. Best "traditional burlesque" show I've ever seen. My friends in the Empire Follies were great! They had girls doing aerial accrobatics! And I'm now in love with Catherine D'lish. Very inspiring. I'm gonna work on putting together a solo show as well as my Revue show. Hmmm...
They had a phenomenal band playing with them called Devotchka. Never heard of them before, but they were wonderful. Bought the cd, even though I couldn't afford it. Gonna do a bellydancing number to some of their music.
Oh, I miss having the leisure to take dance lessons! Guess I'll just have to have my own dance class of one in my living room. I know so much more than I practice!
Anybody have any really sexy music to recommend for my numbers? Doesn't have to be slow. Just gotta have a good groove and good lyrics.
