So I just got home from my "date" last night. The funny thing it was'nt really a date. I had plans to drive out to the beach for dinner and everything fell through at the last minute. Since I was in West Hollywood I decided to give her a call.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"I'm having a Vodka and cranberry... what are you doing?"
"My dinner plans fell through and I decided to give you a call since I was in the neighborhood"
"Well c'mon over and have a drink"
"I'll be there in 5..."
So I stop by and have the best Saturday night I've had in years. We talked, we drank, we ordered from Joneses - the chicken fettucini rocked, watched "Aliens" and for the first time kissed. And they were the best kisses ever. I won't tell her that, cause it will go to her head. But she knows. The coolest part of the evening was sitting on her stairwell and having a smoke. It was so relaxing just sitting on the cool pavement and having someone who you really care about just share a moment together.
Then there was the cuddling and foot massages. So fucking cool to have someone to hold and have them hold you. I miss that so fucking much. And the weird thing was, that all it was. It was being in the moment right then and there and not having any preconceived notions about the situation. And that's always been our problem. You know, if we do this, if we do that where does it lead us ? I think we came to an understanding in our friendship and it's ok by me. Just as long as I get to hold her in the "cool" room, I'm good.
Thank you, baby.
