You don't dance to get somewhere.
You dance for the sheer joy of it.

I know, a repeat quote from yesterday... but it's an appropriate sentiment for the day
Last night was exactly what the doctor ordered (well, it's actually exactly what would give my doc a heart attack, and I'm in a lot of pain today, but it was so worth it).
I've been in a bit of a funk this past week - too many things going on, not enough rest, too much weather-related pain... you know, bunch of this and that making Bohogirl all whacky.
And as much as my instinct is to hole up and isolate when I need to regroup, I knew a little dancing would do me good.
And boy, did it ever...
I even got a special treat - my best friend came out for a little bit! She used to be my partner in crime, but then she up and got herself a boyfriend and now we never see her anymore!
(ok, I see her every day, but she never comes out with us anymore)
She really loved it... and I think she's starting to reconsider sitting at home, waiting for her man to (maybe) show up. She kind of got all pensive and nostalgic at one point and kept saying that she forgot how much fun it is to watch me dance for the sake of dancing... and how much fun it is to just dance.
I'm not holding my breath, but maybe... just maybe... nah... I can't get my hopes up and think that she'll snap out of her relationship insanity. But maybe...
In other news, I met the wonderful SweetIyvie... and she was stunning in her black and white thigh-highs. I hope she comes out again soon

Glad you got what you needed & hope the side effects are as bearable as possible. What kind of music do you like to dance to? For me, it's all about the music...I dance because if the music's good I must...The music forces me to move. Love to dance even though I'm not that good at it...Who cares if other people laugh at me? LOL
