I don't think I've ever been this sick in my life.
Not being able to sleep is not helping either

There's a fire raging up at the Geysers... the paper this morning called it a brush fire, about 200-acre, nothing major for this area. But it's near a geothermal plant, so they were concerned...
I just went outside... it's hot as hell and just as smoky. It's pretty surreal, really. You can see the thick, brownish cloud and you can really smell it.
We've had some bad fires over the years, but I really don't remember it ever being so heavy in the air.
Feels like earthquake weather, too
Never mind... I just checked our local news... the fire had spread to 6000 acres (as of a few hours ago), with winds of up to 36 mph.
Three smaller plants have been taken off line... I wonder what would happen if it reached the main plant - it's the largest geothermal facility in the world. Would it explode? And if it did, would it set off an earthquake? And how big would it be?
The Geysers are our most seismically active area... and Santa Rosa sits on a fault... hmm...
OK, make that 14,000+ acres as of 2:30 pm.
Out of control, as well
