Having postponed 'stupid shopping' for as long as possible, and then for another 2 weeks, I had no other choice but to go to Walmart today...
The trip was uneventful, yet annoying, as those trips usually are.
But...
I saw the ugliest, most hideous little skirt, hanging all by itself among the shampoos... I felt kind of sorry for it - I mean, not only is it ugly and cheap, it's also been taken from its friends and family and then abandoned where it doesn't belong.

So I got it.

And I will wear it on Saturday night.

Trust me - Being an unemployed computer tech in Sonoma County is a popular thing. There are many many many of us here. So, I'm falling back on my secondary knowledge, loan proccessing. I can do that. I've done that. I've had a few temp-to-hire jobs (that didn't hire) being a LP. Last year, I was actually hired as a LP / Office Manager, but that lasted 3 weeks before the market tanked and they let me go.
It's rough out there for a guy who can't stand behind a counter 8 hours a day.
But, I keep looking. Eventually, I'll get hired, and things will be good with the world. Hell, If I get enough money, I may even move out. Again. For the 112th time.
