OK, I should probably clarify the thing with my lawyer and his partner... the guy is not jealous because he thinks I'll turn M. straight - he's threatened by our friendship.
Seems to be the story of my life... You know that 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride'? Yeah, it's kind of like that - I'm always a friend, never a girlfriend.
Don't get me wrong, I know some of my friends would love to get into my pants - I'm not that oblivious (plus, they'll be the first to admit it... and I can't hold it against them - I know some parts of them have a mind of their own
). But they all choose the friendship over whatever else could be.
And I do make a great friend, especially to those I truly bond with.
Sure, I can be really fun to party with or take as a fake date to your highschool reunion. But, I'm also the one you can call at 2 am to give you a ride home (or, if you were a total idiot, at 2:30 to bail your drunk ass out of jail). I'll be there for you when your girlfriend rips your heart out and feeds it to the dogs... I'll let you cry on my shoulder and mope around for about 3 days, then I'll take you out and get you drunk as hell... and if that doesn't make feel better, I'll beat you up and smack you back into reality.
I'll come over and make you soup when you're sick... or cook a gourmet dinner when you are trying to impress someone (I'll also help you dress). And when you finally get 'the one', I'll be the one throwing you the best bachelor party ever
And it's all cause I love my friends and they make me happy!
And, so I rant... damn low blood sugar spell... I think I should get off the computer and eat something (it's just so tedious now that I can't have Ben and Jerry's... rice and vegetables
)
