My mother called me today with horrible news. My very first boyfriend died over the weekend. He had a heart attack at the age of 38.
The light that burns twice as bright lives half as long.
The last time I saw him was years after we drifted apart. We danced at my sister's wedding.
Mike was a bookish, kind, creative boy. He became a reporter. He was easy to adore.
He punished his body. We all do that a bit, drinking a little too much perhaps, smoking a bit too much. But Mike did drugs with abandon. Not sure if this is what killed him, but a heart attack at the age of 38 . . . .?
Funeral in NC this weekend. All of the characters of my youth will be assembled there.
I don't think it's yet sunk in.

I personally found this a quite better show, although that's mostly due to visibility improving 1000000% over the Cramped Cat Club. I did miss Snow and Violet, but they did Peaches this time, Pearl was a brilliant hula-hooper and Dustin Hoffman, and I could actually see, so it's no contest.
edit - I see your Pics are more low-profile... and uhh nice! Cute cats! Nice tatt! Nice... everything else!
