I am back and very moved by the collective show of support I've received from my SG friends. Ya'll are just the absolute best.

The dogs are doing great! I managed to spring them from their hell and spirit them to sanctuary. I took a tip from MacKenzie_K and set out to move like a ninja, but I think I was more like Catwoman on crack.

It was as if the dogs knew I was coming and were prepared to go quietly to the truck! They were models of grace and poise. Good dogs! I won't fill you in on anything else because it is too sad, and don't all of us already know enough sad stories?

Two of the pups already have a new home! The ones that were in worse shape will need some time to heal and learn that a human hand can be an instrument of love rather than meanness.

As for my rap sheet, it's taken a hit. The Man did haul me in when I returned from the sanctuary and made me sit in the tank for two nights. At my arraignment, the judge actually got mad that I was in there for more than a day. It was a beautiful thing to see the arresting officer hang his head. I was set loose on personal recognizance, with a July court date.



So I lost a couple days, but MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Maybe life will return to a rhythm now.
