Just came back from the jazz fest and saw an absolutely stellar show.....CALEXICO was everything I hoped and more. Searing horns, layered guitars, xylophones, and incredible bass. It was exactly what I needed.
If it wasn't for that show the rest of my life would've been the shits.

had our first playoff game last night...it was exciting. i gave up a goal with three minutes to go but we tied it up in the final 15 seconds and hit the post with two seconds left. two minutes into overtime we won...yay!
now all we have to do is win on sunday and we're in the finals.

it sounds like there's someone in my fridge knocking to be let out...but I'm not hungry yet so in they stay.
just came back from the hospital after getting my calf slashed open with a skate. i now have 24 new stitches and no digital camera to record the grusomeness.
oh well...at least there should be a killer scar!
