It's surprising how many guys are super enthusiastic about their girlfriends shooting for SG, until they actually follow through with it. Then, not so much, or worse. It's ruined some relationships over the years, which is unfortunate. Hopefully, he can continue to roll with it. Good luck with the new job and, uh, the eventual burial of your dad.
