Finally some good news

Found out today that in approximately a year and some change im going to be stationed in California. After these soon to be 4 years I'll be home for good!!! I feel like I can finally start my life. I nearly cried from happiness when I opened that email.

I was too till I made some changes. I know you are kinda stuck for a bit. Alot of it is your mindset.  Our minds are the worst at times. I don't know your schedule and restrictions with what you do but if you can find an outlet. Any martial arts schools in the area? Or Rieki practioners 😉 lol... hang in there. And stop hanging around ass's that don't respect you lol.. just saying 😜 lol..

Found out today that my dad died a few days ago. Myself and my family cut off contact with him because he wasn't the greatest person, between the alcohol, the abuse, and the drugs. He didnt make the best choices all the way up to the end. Yet I'm sad angry and confused, I wonder how it could have been different if I kept trying...

I am very very sorry to hear. I understand how tough that might be. My grandmother was the same. Even was abusive to the nurse's when she was in for liver cancer because they wouldn't give her beer. I hope you are doing OK.  Sometimes it's hard to help people in these situations. Sending you peaceful thoughts and kind energy.
