Now that my Doctors have gotten pain under control I've had to find new ways of keeping myself interested with my forced work sabbatical.
The last few weeks that has entailed becoming a part time Repo Man with my Uncle.
Yesterday we went on the road out to scenic BFE ok to get a Minivan and a truck. The first house we rolled up to had our minivan parked right in the middle of the driveway. Cool Deal I thought. This should be no problem. We'll hook her up drag her on the flatbed and be gone and before anyone knows we were here. As we kept pulling forward the police car behind the minivan came into view. Fuck fuck fuck! MY day just got harder.
Bottom line we decided to contact the owner and get the keys from him.
The cop was pretty pissed off about the deal, but in the end logic prevailed and he handed over the keys. He was a nice guy, although he didn't pay his bills or let me play with the lights on his squad car.
We brought the van back to the storage yard and then went off to get out truck.
As we entered the neighborhood we could see the truck sitting in the driveway. With a cop car sitting right next to it. This was going to be a long day. After much hassle the owner paid his bills and we left the truck with the owner.
To end the day we picked up a $175,000 Georgie Boy motor coach. It was a 32 footer. I'm driving it up to the auto auction in Kansas city this weekend. It should be fun to do a road trip to KC. Plus I can watch OU play football on the TV as I drive up.
