Well, I just wanted to say, the job search has been fruitless. I am so broke right now, I'm thinking of whoring my body in Balboa Park for loose change.
In other news, I should tell you I met this girl through MySpace and we have hit it off pretty well. I'm supposed to go see her next weekend (Thursday-Saturday) for the first time. She lives in Lancaster, Ca, so I plan to go to LA and take the metro. About an hour and a half a way. This girl is really really something. She is a writer too, an amazing wordsmith. If I was one-tenth of the writer she is, I would be a happy man. I'm a little nervous, of course, about meeting her. Damn this Internet anyway. You build up this image of a person in your head (even with pics and talking on the phone) and when you meet them, they aren't the same, and it just doesn't seem to work. And, I really want this to work. We talk everyday, two hours a day or so. I feel like fucking Kip in Napoleon Dynamite or something, waiting to meet LaFawnduh for the first time. Just hope I don't have to go out and sell tupperware to bring her down to San Diego sometime.
In other news, I have been sending out many query letters to agents, trying to find SOMEONE to pitch my book to publishers. Yes, thee book you lucky people get to read excerpts from, all the time. Actually, I go through spurts where I like my book, and other spurts where I believe it to be an exerable piece of crap that isn't marketable at all. So, you tell me.
Anyway, that is all campers! I hope everyone in SG is well. In the words of David Byrne and Talking Heads: "You work so hard, and you try to be strong!"

I am actually far more interested in writing than I am in photography, i am just more reluctant to post it places because it is so easy to steal someone else's words and plus I tend to be more guarded with my writings, but since you like them maybe i should start posting more.
