I watched Eternal Sunshine (yet again.) We have it on Movies-On-Demand and my brother watched it. I think the message of the movie (which comes across so poignantly at the end when the two of them are standing together in Joel's apartment with his criticisms of Clemetine playing in the background) is that we all realise that we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes in our relationships and be hurt over and over. And yet we stll try to reach out and love other people. That's what it's all about really. I think the movie was better the second time around.
