2007 was the year of the Hopeful.
From 2001-2006, it appears there was no such thing as “Hopefuls”.
That concept seems to have begun in 2007.
But we will not meet our first-ever hopefuls in this chapter quite yet.
Likewise, 2007 seems to be the year when ASSES started to be all the rage (including on Suicide Girls).
It’s as if a memo went out.
From the very beginning of January 2007, there was an increased emphasis on buttocks.
And that trend continued into February 2007.
But we will not yet meet our “Great American Novel” of rear ends in this chapter (i.e. “the first GREAT ass set in Suicide Girls history”).
What we do have in early 2007 is the twilight of a less-competitive time.
As @kiley pointed out in comments last time, it may very well have been that members and models were allowed to like sets TWICE in this era (including in late-2006).
This would somewhat explain why many, MANY sets were getting nearly 10,000 likes.
But let’s get into the meat of 2007.
To first significant set, to my eyes, is Punk Geisha starring @julie .
This one is a masterpiece of breasts.
A touch of lavender spices up the color palette nicely as well.
Speaking of boobs, we soon got the HAWT body of @emi in Uncinched .
While being focused mainly on her outstanding rack, this set also features a particularly-arsousing ass shot.
So you can see the new aesthetic creeping in.
Soon, butts would be king of the Western world—from SG to every visual manifestation of rap music.
This passage from breasts to butts parallels the death of rock and roll as a major commercial genre and the ascension of rap and hip hop as the dominant global genre of music.
One set that really successfully straddles the line between boob-centric and ass-centric is Fiesty by @silencia .
Which is to say, this set has something for everybody. Here is a lady who was blessed with both top and bottom assets. A fine set indeed!
Wonderful natural breasts abound (replete with close-ups) in Schooled by @bully . Nice use of chain-link fencing here!
But nothing is so slippery-hot as @alexsandria in The Welder .
These are truly some stupendous knockers!!
If you need some melons mid-afternoon, take a Lunch Break with @anoushka .
Gorgeous mounds of joy are at the heart of this spread.
But maybe you are just starting your day, yes?
Then pack it in for the daily slog with @cili who was serving a Breakfast Special .
This truly-significant set features nipples to die for. Please help yourself!
Now we need some art.
And @kayliane illustrates the harmony of pink nipples against a baby-blue background in Red Beads .
This is an underused color combination and should be studied and exploited more by models with a similar skin tone and breast pigmentation.
If you wanna see a really hot gal who loves doing close-ups, check out @valium in Aspect Geek .
While she has a great body, this set would not be nearly as special were it not for the artful framing and visual narrative she created.
It is nearly a master class in close-ups.
Highly effective!

Coming in hot was @fluff in Pinup Pillows .
As you might guess from the name, this one features the squishy goodness found nowhere else on God’s green earth than the chest of busty lady.
What an excellent, CONFIDENT set by Fluff.

AGAIN, the close-ups steal the show.
And make the set.
Even though she has divine nipples, this girl could also be a hand model.
I love the dramatic nature of this set as well as its nearly-monochrome color palette.
And now we come to the boob lady in waiting: the all-world talent @ember .
I have not talked much about her yet in this history, but after the boob Queen @mary , I would say Ember is the next really significant model in SG breast history.
What is more, I think Wrapped in Plastic was her best work up to this point.
It is creative.
It is different.
And with a body like that, it only takes a touch of artfulness for the whole thing to explode with brilliance.
