As we discussed in the previous chapter, May 2006 was a miraculous month for Suicide Girls. The metrics that are visible to members (such as “likes” on sets) went THROUGH THE ROOF.
What caused this sudden phenomenon where models started getting 10,000 [sic] likes per set? Simply put, I don’t know.
It’s tempting to credit one model, such as @ember (who was doing such great work during this period), with taking SG to the “next level”. But there were other models, such as the amazing @mary , who were also getting an astronomical number of likes on their sets beginning about May 2006.
So the next question might be, “did this level of member connection and adoration persist?” Simply put, yes: it did.
June 2006 (and beyond) saw these unreal numbers stick around. So let’s see what was making members gaga in June 2006.
White Tile by @alexsandria got a breezy 5000 likes. No big woop.
Seriously, though: this is a very special set with a very special pair of breasts. Wow!
But I am even more enamored with @fawn in Light Test . Pretty fucking perfect!!
