The grind never stopped on Suicide Girls. Once the site was up and running, people expected more photo shoots, more new models, more variety…MORE MORE MORE.
Fortunately SG had more to give as it rolled into autumn of 2004.
Dropped Stitch sees @melly knitting a fall scarf.
And (wow!) is this set special!!
I really, really adore this one. What a divine model.
But summer was still spilling over into its poetic successor.
Witness the radiance of scorcher @emylou in her modern pin-up classic Spill .
What an absolute babe! And check out that awesome, unique hairstyle.
This set is superb.
But soon we would have an explosion of sexiness known as @aiden to deal with.
Definitely an “eyes up here” model to keep our eyes on.
Her set Punk Rock is the announcement of a great new talent.
But things would go up even a notch higher with Fluorescent by @jem .
My Lord…this set absolutely POPS with brilliance.
Pink and green.
And the most delightful pink nipples.
The colors all work together here to equal a very, very strong photo shoot.
But how about @zelda ?
She was looking so amazing in Cut N Paste .
She has a very unique physique and it is displayed wonderfully here.
The next play of light and shadow to really catch my eye is Antique by @pepper .
The photography is bold and daring.
There are dramatic changes in vibe and lighting throughout the set.
It keeps the viewer ENGAGED.
And it is very strong work indeed.
Do you like tomboys?
I absolutely do.
And @korento has a very stylish sort of “butch” in her set Military Brat .
This beautiful lady also had a magnificent hairstyle going on for this shoot.
Thoroughly enjoyable!
But my set of the early-autumn award goes to @synnove and her magnificent SELF-SHOT masterpiece Seeing Spots .
You guys know you can still tip these sets, right?
As long as the model is still officially associated with SG, you can.
Just look for that fourth GREEN gift box icon on the right on a model’s profile.
If it’s there (as is the case with Synnove), you can tip them.
If there’s only three boxes (i.e. no green box on the right), then you cannot tip them.
And what is the best way to tip SG models (both new and old)?
My research has found that Suicide Girls models love to be tipped ON THEIR SETS.
See a good live streamer?
Awesome.
If you’re only gonna leave one tip, GO LEAVE IT ON A SET.
They love that (for some reason).
I think it really shows a respect for their work.
Go recognize the hard labor they put into crafting a series of images for YOU.
[indeed, I tipped this Synnove set JUST THE OTHER DAY]
My M.O. is this.
Once a week, I go through the NEW SETS on SG.
And I tip THE BEST SETS (as I see them).
I try to tip four sets.
I don’t care if they are Hopefuls or Pinks.
The best wins (in my mind).
The perfect scenario would be to tip two Hopefuls and two Suicide Girls.
Encourage the new models.
REWARD the established models for their achievement.
BUT LET’S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE GIRLS WHO MADE SG GREAT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
That’s what I am here for.
To DIG on your behalf.
Everyone can use a little extra scratch in their bank account.
These older SG sets are TIMELESS.
The boner does not discriminate based on era.
If a shoot/model is hot as fuck, it remains hot as fuck FOR A VERY LONG TIME.
Ok, there’s my “tip a legend” sermon for today.
On to more LEGENDS!!!
Dante had Beatrice.
And Petrarch has @laura .
And Laura looks AMAZEBALLS in Shoot .
Again, notice the pink-against-green beauty-struggle here.
The colors are fighting in the most delightful way.
A mint green bedsheet.
Perhaps pistachio.
Sea foam.
COOL, daddy-o…
And Laura is youthful pink.
As Godard said, “All you need for a film is a girl and a gun.”
Try not to shoot before you get to the end of THIS set.
Not easy.
Ready for some hobnail-boot hipness?
Feast your eyes on @olive in Cuban Heel .
This is one flapper I would fly to in a heartbeat!
What a fantastic, angular, expressionist set!!
But its decadence is only in the mascara.
Here we get a LIGHT struggle.
White against black.
That lovely POP of one extreme against another.
Light and dark.
Light flashes of background.
BOLD poses of drama.
Dark makeup.
And that wonderful silent-film hair.
Louise Brooks would have loved it!!!
Still waiting for your cup of tea?
Amuse yourself with the smärgåsbord that is @claire .
Get drunk on this swirl of images.
What a sensual masterwork.
And Claire is an ink GODDESS.
OMG.
Just really lovely tattoos.
Why does this photo shoot work so well?
Because it is creative.
It is psychedelic.
Here we are BATHED in red.
This one is a CLASSIC.
I adore the photography and vibe of Amuse.
Once again, let’s recognize the excellence of a photographer.
Once again, for these early days, it is the all-world @missy that we heap our kudos upon.
The set I am talking about is Cornered by @eva .
My God, what a model!
And I like how Missy’s shoots often have one-word titles.
Bold.
Dramatic.
Succinct.
Light and dark.
Model and photographer both excelled here.
Before we wrap it up, we gotta Lap It Up with the down and dirty, goth darkness of @morticia .
Whether drinking from a bowl of milk, or sticking her tongue in it, the bright exposé of the camera flash gives the impression that we are seeing something we perhaps shouldn’t—that the model has been “caught” (as it were).
Like a crime scene photographer—like a photojournalist out on a beat in Raymond Chandler’s L.A. The pop of the flash bulb. The huge CHUCK-ing sound of a vintage news camera.
Paparazzi.
Or Pepperami (as Ali G. would say).
This is a great shoot.
And it is not the first time we have recognized Morticia.
If you like to see your models get on their knees and LOW TO THE GROUND, you might enjoy this one.
Before I get outta here, I gotta find my Keys .
Ah, there they are!
Thank you, @aria !!
This set has everything.
Luscious breasts.
Gauzy, impressionist, ballerina textures.
Definitely a set to tip!!!
Two more before I go:
first is a very significant set by @julie .
This set is a paeon to real, natural breasts.
Nothing makes me weaker in the knees.
Give me the naturally-busty, and I shall be eternally happy.
Julie is most gifted in this department.
Big, but not too big.
Delightfully-heavy.
A wonder to look upon.
And thus, we are introduced to this highly-noteworthy model Julie.
I look forward to covering her work in future chapters.
Finally, we come to a set which really must be seen to be believed.
This one pulls out all the stops in homage to Marilyn Monroe.
Hey, it was Halloween 2004.
A great time to play “dress up”.
I cannot emphasize enough the QUALITY of this set.
From conception to execution.
And the poses by @jami !
Marilyn was a great, frosty way to usher in winter.
And in the next chapter we will have some all-telling breezes from the past.
For Suicide Girls was officially THREE YEARS OLD at this point…and there was no stopping them.
