El Paso adventure 2:
So last time some of the photos didnt post. I got it this time.
Took a couple more hikes, climed up to another mtn top, great view! Also hiked out to the hidden spring. The pool and cistern were all dryed up, apparently theyre in the worst drought in 70yrs down here. After a little free climb (sketchy!) a managed to find where the spring came out of the cliff side in a nice shadey over hang
Climed up another ridge and was able to look down on mexico, texas and new mexico all at the same time. While i was up there a couple came walking up the other side, apparently there was a trail on the oppisite side of the mtn, oh well i bet they didnt have as much fun as i did dodgeing rattel snakes. On a whim i went back to the little cory i was climbing on the other day, found a BUNCH of people climbing on bolted routes i didnt even notice before. They were nice enough to loan me some gear and let me climb with them for a few hrs. That seems to be the trend down here, total strangers bein very inviting and eager to share their adventures with you.
Lastly i have comfirmed a session with a local tatto artist, im going to look at the renderings on tuesday.
Upcoming, on memorial day weekend, here in El Paso, there is supposed to be a large "street art" show. Should be cool... stay tuned.
what the HELL is going on with my photos!?
