War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personel safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the excertions of better men than himself.

That said, I'm not sure about sex WITH snow (except for a brunette I once knew whose name was 'Snow'), sex IN the snow is actually great. In a big drift, once you're in there it warms up and hollows out and you can actually sweat.
I guess it's the same kind of principle that make igloos habitable. Body heat warms the interior which is insulated by the snow, which is formed via the very cold from which we need protection. Great paradox, that.
Although, since cold does not exist, per se, I suppose it's 'absence of heat' we try to avoid, but that's too double negativy to sound right.
I have 3 nephews serving in or having served in the current War, one of whom comes home and I get to see in May.
Back in 1982 I was solicitd for officer training in the Navy, but failed the physical for a double inguinal hernia. Which, btwm has had litttle effect on my life. I've wrestled, done many crazyass stunts, lift whatever I can, etc. It's all in HOW I do stuff, so I could have done just fine in the Navy.
Often wonder where I'd be now in my life had I not been turned down by the Navy.
Oh well, c'est la Vie.
