Keep in mind that, because of the nature of chatters' relationships, the relationships themselves tend to be significantly more intense than other ones. Good luck with it and, no matter what, always enjoy it. You're one of a very few people who are living this type of life. It's completely untested and no one really knows how people behave in the situations that having all of the contact in a chat environment or how it will affect the relationship or anyone's life altogether.
P.S. Tell her to join a group (perhaps maybe one that only you and her would be in so you can go chat in it without interruption if you'd so like.) I heard about a guy who had the same problem and as soon as he joined a group chat worked. Yea, I have no idea how that works either, but it did.

I am an observer but it sucks indeed when one has so much potential and a need to really say whats on the mind. so, the new macbook pro, is made of all kinds of win. i LOVE this machine!!!! more on that later, I gotta go to work and sell computers, hopefully we get another shipment in so that my customer who needs one asap can pick his up. :S
